guess what?

i LOVE provo.

yes, i did just say that.

i really can't believe it myself, either.

i've been in salt lake, and i'm in farmington today,

and i just keep thinking about going back to provo.

i love my job.

i love my apartment.

my roommates are top of the line.

school is only 15 min away.

the pool is a blast.

everything is close.

...just to name a few.

i definitely never thought i'd love living in provo,

but i feel lucky to be able to enjoy it.

piano magic

i have seen this on so many people's blogs.

sorry if i'm repeating everyone else,

but i love it and i could listen to it all day.

when i was a senior in highschool i finally

convinced my mom to pay for piano lessons.

i wanted to be able to play the piano like a pro.

a sweet, old woman in my ward ended up

giving me piano lessons for free. i loved it so much.

when i moved away to college i stopped taking lessons

and i stopped learning how to play.

one day when i have lots of money i will buy a piano

and learn how to play like a pro.

until then, i will continue to listen to jon schmidt.

if you haven't heard this, listen to it.

anniversary- can only old people say that word?

today is special because:

i have been dating dallin for a year.

we count it from the first time we kissed.

so dallin says, "we've been kissing for a year".

i have learned so much over the last 12 months.

i have been very happy,

and even though there have been some hard times,

i can't complain, because

i am so happy to be dating dallin.

i love him.

i have a lot of memories from this past year.

most are happy,

some are sad,

a lot are funny,

many are silly,

and, all are good!

i love you dallin.

should i stand on my bed and hit the ceiling?

i'm still awake

with a wrenching stomach ache.

the girl upstairs is vacuuming,

and

all semester i could always hear her

phone vibrate through the night.

sounds like she's moving out tomorrow.

shame i didn't ever get to meet her..

come on!

i laughed out loud for a really long time.

this was such a funny moment.

we were trying on our bridesmaids outfits

for heather's wedding,

and we all agreed that we were going to look pregnant.

...don't worry, we didn't.

sick of being sick

i am so tired of being sick. last week i felt terrible all week- i actually tried to write a blog about it, but the internet stopped working and by the time i got {back} around to it, it felt too late to post. i ended up having strep throat. i've had strep probably a good 20 times in my life. i don't know why, but strep is really common in my family- we get it multiple times a year. sometimes when i have strep it is no big deal and i barely notice it, but sometimes it is dreadful! this last case that i contracted was terrible. i haven't been that sick in awhile! thankfully i was able to get on prescription last saturday and about tuesday i was feeling mostly over the throat sickness. the problem is- the prescription is making my stomach sick! the stomach pain is worse than the throat pain! {or at least i'd rather have throat soreness than stomach aches} it is so awful! i am currently awake because my poor stomach feels like it's being eaten alive by acid {or something... haha} i'm supposed to eat when i take the pills, but my stomach is so upset that food sounds awful, and it's basically just a big, huge mess! i can't wait until tuesday when i can stop being sick for real. i will stop complaining now...

tonight dallin took me on a date to

afterwards we ate at subway,

since we're trying to lose

10 lbs for the

biggest loser

competition we decided to do.

then we took a walk up to campus to

mail some thank you cards,

came home to do some

push-up's and sit-up's

{dallin's made of steel},

read some scriptures,

and ended with a game of

egyption rat screw.

{even though dallin was down to 2 cards,

he had a major comeback and i STILL lost}

today was a great day.

i was going through pictures tonight

and i realized most of my pictures

contain just my sister kara and i.

kara and i are 23 months apart.

growing up we had mostly the same friends,

but we were happy just to

play with each other.

she is in lots of pain and needs our help!

i heart mac

back when dallin, and everyone else i know, was purchasing their apple computers from the very convincing and business-like friend of mine, i told him, "i will NEVER buy a mac from you- mostly just to prove a point to you though", well i gave in and now i'm anxiously awaiting the arrival (i guess i'll be the arrival, because it's actually waiting for ME to pick IT up from t-davis) this sweet new toy of mine,don't worry, you'll know when i have it- because the posts will come more frequently and more beautifully. (not that anyone is wanting either of those). i really am excited though. it will be nice to have somewhere to keep my pictures and papers- and mostly convenient to be able to use a computer whenever i need to, and especially helpful for the three online classes i'll be taking this summer. currently i'm watching bedtime stories and listening to the rain POURING outside my window. i'm wondering when my basement apartment will flood- it sounds like a swimming pool out there! off to bed i must go though, i have class in a short six hours! until next time..

happy easter!

this weekend i drove down south to st. george to spend easter weekend with my family. we had a great weekend with eachother.  it was fun to see sarah and eric, and i was glad that most of my siblings were able to be there. we went to the st. george temple on friday morning. later that day tyler helped me wax my car. it needed it SO bad- and it took 3 coats! it is very sparkly and beautiful now though.  on saturday the kids went to an easter egg hunt and then we all went swimming.  somewhere in all the fun we went to spoon me TWICE, swimming tons, church for easter, had an easter egg hunt of our own, made dinner, ate at the pizza factory, watched marley and me, and much, much more.  i got totally fried by the pool right before we came home and my skin is still mending.  i'm glad to be sleeping in my own bed, as opposed to the blow up mattress in the closet (there were a lot of people staying in a small three bedroom condo), but i had so much fun. i miss waking up to all my nieces and nephews and siblings! here are some pictures (taken by kara)..

it's only 1:40am

i've been really good at going to bed at a reasonable time.
staying up late tonight has nothing to do with sleeping in this morning-
because i didn't. {i had early class at 8, and yes, it's manageable once a week}
i'm now wanting and wishing for more hours at work.
i never thought i would say that.

i don't have much to say tonight- but i had an urge to write.
i'm getting excited for spring, but mostly summer.
i found out my anatomy class is going to be harder than expected,
i've been mentally preparing for months, and now i'm practically in meditation mode.
please start your prayers for an A now.

if anyone wants, or knows someone that wants,
to buy headbands and/or jewelry- please let me know.
i've got some in the makings.

tomorrow i'm headed to st. george for easter.
i'm hoping it's warmer there than here, and i'm really excited because i love easter.
i wish i had my camera to document.
